Privacy Policy

This policy covers the ZedLearn Teacher Portal (teacher-web). We collect only what is needed to run the service and never sell your personal information to third parties.

• Account info: your email address, used for passwordless sign-in.
• Teaching profile: school name, your name, subject, and grade/form you teach — entered voluntarily so generated documents can be filled in automatically.
• Uploaded templates: if you upload a lesson plan or Records of Work template, we extract and store the text so future generations can match your school's format.
• Generated content: the inputs you provide (subject, topic, grade, etc.) and the documents the AI produces, saved to your History so you can revisit them.
• Usage data: which tools you've used and how many times, to enforce free-trial limits and monthly subscription caps.
• Payment data: subscription payments are processed by Lenco. We store the payment reference, amount, and status — we never see or store your card or mobile money PIN.

• To respond to support requests you send us

• We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers
• We do not use your generated documents to train third-party models beyond what our AI provider processes to return your result
• We do not share your teaching profile with other teachers or schools without your action (e.g. joining a school workspace)

We rely on a small number of processors to run the Platform: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), DeepSeek (AI generation), and Lenco (payment processing). Each only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function.

Your account, teaching profile, and generation history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

You can review, edit, or delete the profile information and uploaded templates stored in Settings at any time. To request a full export or deletion of your account data, contact us at info@desk.co.zm.

Data is stored with row-level access controls so that only you can read your own profile, templates, generations, and question bank — enforced at the database level, not just in the application.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
